CHAMPIONSHIP GAME WILL AIR ON AMERICAN FORCES NETWORK
Title game broadcast to be made available to thousands of U.S. Armed Forces members serving abroad
The National Lacrosse League has announced that the 2013 NLL Championship Game presented by Reebok on Saturday, May 11 at 7 p.m. ET, airing live on CBS Sports Network, will also be carried on the American Forces Network (AFN).
"We are proud to bring the NLL Championship Game to the brave men and women serving overseas in our Armed Forces," said NLL Commissioner George Daniel.
The East Division champion and defending NLL champion Rochester Knighthawks will take on the West Division champion Washington Stealth in the title game at Langley Events Centre in Langley, British Columbia for the right to hoist the Champion's Cup.
Stealth rookie defenseman Tim Henderson is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, where he played four seasons of collegiate lacrosse at Army. The two-time All-American Honorable Mention selection was named Patriot League Defensive Player of the Year as a senior in 2012.
