Number of years on Wild Bunch: 5
What is your dance history? I started dancing when I was about 5 or 6 in a studio and continued classes through middle school. In middle school and high school I was on the Varsity cheerleading team, and was captain for two years in high school. I was also the choreographer for most of our dance routines on the team. After high school I continued taking classes at MSU Denver, and tried out for the Colorado Mammoth Wild Bunch in 2009. I made the team for the first time and have been here ever since! Five years later, I am captain of the Wild Bunch and awaiting for the 2013-14 season to begin! Let's Go!
What made you want to audition for the Wild Bunch? I absolutely love the Colorado Mammoth fans and the high intensity of the game! A Mammoth game is not just a sporting event, it is an experience and I wanted to be a part of that experience. I also love how involved the Wild Bunch is. We do community events, participate in social events, dance (of course) at the games, and represent our beautiful state of Colorado! Who wouldn't want to be a part of such a positive brand?!
What was the first thing that entered your mind when your number was called to make the team? YES!!!!! I was so happy they called my number again this season because I knew from previous years how much there is to lose, and I was not ready to give that up! I am so thankful and grateful for this wonderful opportunity and these past five years the Mammoth has given me. Thank you!
What is your favorite style of dance? Hip Hop
What do you do to stay in shape? I love to run outside with my dogs and of course go to yoga classes at Corepower Yoga!
Who is your favorite player? John Gallant
What are you looking forward to most this season? I am looking forward to passing on my knowledge and experience to our new teammates, learning new choreography, and entertaining the best fans in the NLL at the home games! Go Mammoth!
