Returned to the Active Roster on March 29, 2014... Placed on the Injured Reserve - Second Level list on February 7, 2014... A left-handed goal-scoring threat, Jones eclipsed 30-goal plateau in final game of 2013 regular season (April 20 @ Minnesota) with a season-best five goals and eight points…notched 12 power-play goals and two short-handed goals in 2013, while scoring one or more goals in every game and two or more in 12 of the 16…scooped up 87 loose balls and forced 12 turnovers…enters the 2014 season two points shy of 150 for his career, and 14 assists shy of 100…has scored seven goals in two career playoff games…was the second Mammoth player to be named the league’s Rookie of the Year (2012) after leading all first-year players in assists (47) and points (76) – both stats were franchise rookie records, as was Jones’ goal total (29)…was two-time NLL Rookie of the Month (January and March), and a three-time NLL Rookie of the Week…was the third-overall selection in the 2011 NLL Entry Draft…won two Minto Cups with the Orangeville Northmen and was named the Championship’s Most Outstanding Player in 2009…named the tournament MVP and Top Midfielder of the 2008 ILF U-19 Men’s Lacrosse World Championships playing for Team Canada… played college lacrosse at Canisius with teammate and fellow 2011 NLL Entry Draft first-round pick Dan Coates…cousin, Mat MacLeod, plays for the Mammoth.
