Josh Gross - Director of Business Development

Josh Gross has been Director of Business Development for the Colorado Mammoth since August, 2009. Gross has been involved with the team since his Mammoth radio debut as sideline reporter for the 2005 season. Since then, he has served as the play-by-play announcer for internet and radio broadcasts, and assumed the role of TV play-by-play announcer for Altitude Sports & Entertainment prior to the 2007 season.

In his front office position, Gross will manage the team’s overall budget as well as the season and group ticket campaigns and its account service department. He also assumed responsibility for the Mammoth’s community relations and fan development initiatives, including the Sticks 4 Schools program in which Mammoth players teach a lacrosse curriculum to greater Denver elementary school students.

A native of Bridgewater, N.J., Gross graduated magna cum laude with a broadcast journalism degree from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University.

Prior to his front-office position with the Mammoth, he managed sponsorship sales and service and public relations efforts for NDP (National Development Program) Lacrosse, a division of the Kroenke Sports Enterprises lacrosse department.

His career achievements also include a stint as the Director of Ticket Sales for the Boston Cannons of Major League Lacrosse, as well as ticket sales responsibilities for the Colorado Crush of the Arena Football League.

Gross lists his career highlight as the opportunity to call the NLL Champion’s Cup Final, a game in which the Mammoth won, in 2006. He resides in Denver with his wife, Natalia, and their son, Carter.
