- Vice President, Business Operations & Alternate Governor
Josh Gross was recently promoted to Vice President, Business Operations for the Colorado Mammoth and NDP Championships after nearly 11 years with KSE. He began his career in the Mammoth front office in August, 2009 as the team’s Director of Business Operations, and transitioned to Senior Director, Lacrosse Operations in August, 2012. Gross has been involved with the team since his Mammoth radio debut as sideline reporter for the 2005 season. Since then, he has served as the play-by-play announcer for internet and radio broadcasts, and assumed the role of TV play-by-play announcer for Altitude Sports & Entertainment for the past eight seasons.
In his front office position, Gross oversees daily business operations for the organization and connects departments within KSE to ensure consistent messaging and a superior product, all fo the enjoyment of the fans. He is responsible for growing the Mammoth brand and the sport of lacrosse in the marketplace, and spearheads the team’s public and media relations efforts, as well as its fan development initiatives.
Gross has successfully expanded NDP Championships from a lacrosse tournament company into a full-scale event management leader that produces events at the local, regional and national levels. He also co-founded NDP Custom Apparel, a division that customizes and embellishes event-branded garments.
A native of Bridgewater, N.J., Gross graduated magna cum laude with a broadcast journalism degree from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University.
His career achievements also include a stint as the Director of Ticket Sales for the Boston Cannons of Major League Lacrosse, as well as ticket sales responsibilities for the now-defunct Colorado Crush of the Arena Football League.
Gross lists his career highlight as the opportunity to call the NLL Champion’s Cup Final, a game in which the Mammoth won, in 2006. He resides in Arvada with his wife, Natalia, and children, Carter and Quinn.
