Joel Raether -
Strength & Conditioning Coach/Equipment Manager
Joel Raether is entering his fourth season as the Colorado Mammoth's Director of Strength and Conditioning and his first season as the team's equipment manager. He is also the education programs coordinator for the National Strength and Conditioning Association and was the assistant strength and conditioning coach at the University of Denver from 2002 - 2009. A certified strength and conditioning specialist by the National Strength and Conditioning Association, Raether earned his bachelor’s and master’s degree in exercise science from the University of Nebraska-Kearney.
Raether has co-authored the books 101 Agility Drills and 101 Sand Bag Exercises and was also a contributing author to Fit Kids for Life. He has published numerous peer-reviewed research and journal articles and has presented nationally and internationally in the area of sports performance. He has coached numerous All-Americans, conference champions, more than five individual or team national champions, and one Olympic medalist.
