Which is our official color, Maroon or Burgundy? The Media Guide shows Burgundy but we have had in the past Maroon & White games?

The official Mammoth color is PMS 202 (Harvard Red).

Basically color name means dittle in which we have discussed at length in another thread. A quick search reveals that PMS 202 in known as Burgundy, Maroon, Concorida, Harvard Red and Texas A & M Red. What truely defines a color is it scale be it RGB, CMYK or another scale method. Allow me to demonstrate with a make shift color wheel.
