Mr. Govett,
Obviously I, like many fans, am extremely disappointed that the season is going to be cancelled. The Mammoth always provided great entertainment and was something that the entire family enjoyed going to.
I know in an earlier post you mentioned that season ticket holders can keep their deposits for next year. What is the likelihood that there is a next year? There are definitely teams like the Mammoth and Toronto that can survive this sort of thing, but what about the other teams that really struggled financially? If there are only a few teams left can there realistically be a 2009 season?
So now to the real question...If as a season ticket holder I choose to keep my money on deposit and there turns out to be no 2009 season, is there any guarantees that we would get our money back at that point?
You also mentioned that there would be other "perks" for season ticket holders that elect to keep their money on deposit. Have those "perks" been determined and if so can you disclose those to us?
If we elect to take our deposits back, first, how long will it take until we get our money back? And second, if there is a 2009 season we will be treated as new season ticket holders or will we still be treated as existing season ticket holders and have priority to our current seats?
Thanks for your time!
Mark
P.S. My brother in law and I are the guys who bought you and Gary beers at the Outlaws game after you won the championship.
