Hey Steve,

What chance is there (if any) that we could see Jay Jalbert back in a Mammoth uniform this year or even next year?

Great job with the Mammoth this year! I'm looking forward to another championship run!

I know this is a question that plenty of Mammoth fans are wondering. I spent the weekend with Jay in New York last weekend and he will be here in Denver this weekend. We had plenty of discussion about the topic and rest assured he misses the team and, of course, the fans.

Unfortunately, Jay has been steadfast in his statement that he would sit out this season and play next season. We are respectful and understanding of Jay's decision and support him 100%. We all want him back for a long time and fully expect him to be in a Mammoth uniform next season.

Again, he reiterated his desire to play next season and will be ready to go when camp starts late this year.
