How come the attendance is not announced/presented at the games anymore? As an original season ticket holder, I take pride in not only the nightly attendance, but having the highest yearly attendance in the league. Once again, the mammoth dominated in 2007. :D

Philadelphia 90,547 11,318
Edmonton 86,521 10,815
Rochester 79,612 9,952
Minnesota 75,214 9,402
New York 61,262 7,658
Portland 60,218 7,527
Arizona 48,398 6,050
Chicago 48,202 6,025

We decided that the entertainment aspect of that element had lost some of its lustre. As you know we are constantly trying to maximize the entertainment aspect while balancing the economic aspect of everything we do. Having a sponsor for the element is key but also making sure it fits into the "flow" of the game is also important.

We are always revisiting our in game entertaiment and may bring it back.

The bottom line is you fans are awesome and fill the building every night. I can only hope that we can continue to entertain you every game, that remains our goal and we are dedicated to that every day!!

For my two cents, those Thursday games were painful. I'd prefer Sundays over Thursdays any time!

If there is not an "entertainment" aspect to the attendance, I do not mind. Just a simple announcement of the number and a thank you would be great.

On the subject of, I have to say personally that the best into ever was the second year where the jumbotron was going through the ice cave, the Offspring blaring over the PA and snow falling in the arena. That gave me chills before every game.

The Art of War quote from a season or two ago come in a close second, but the snow is by far the best.

I agree, Offspring's Neocon really seemed to fit. I can't help but get chills and pumped up anytime I hear it since I still associate it with the Mammoth.

Is this the one where it takes you through a tomb or the innards of a pyramid that ends to Stilley in warrior gear? That's my favorite.

I agree Neocon has been the best opening music. Also, would like to go back to more fireworks and less people on the field for introductions. JMO.

2nded, 3rded, 4thed etc.etc.etc.etc.etc.etc.etc.etc.

That was by far my favorite. I know you don't wanna do the same thing every year... but wow that one got us (fans) screaming!

STOP CONFORMING.

Also:

The sun starts rising... a herd of mammoth is walking towards the viewer... ACDC-Thunderstruck is playing... (something cool here that I can't think of)... have video of Prout's hit, Mancub's goal from the Stealth game, and a couple other hits and such... then it stops abruptly... only to have the snow start... then Wooly runs out...

Someone finish this.
