Steve,

At the tournament someone mentioned that the Titans might play this year! Any truth to this?

The Titans franchise will not be playing this season. They currently have a certain time frame to sell the franchise to possibly return sometime in the future, beyond 2011. The 2011 schedule is in its final development and the Titans had a deadline in July to be allowed to be on the schedule, they could not meet that deadline and subsequently ceased operations.

The players have been dispersed as everyone knows, and will not be returning to the Titans should they ever come back with new ownership in Orlando.

Just goes to show, I cannot believe everything that I hear!

Again, thanks for putting on a tournament at the Pepsi Center. Everyone had fun and I hope with the success we had, you will do it again next year.
