Hey Steve!
As always thanks for all the hard work and great job behind the bench so far.
My wife loves baked potatoes, and that is her food of choice whenever we get to the Pepsi Center. So far this year, the baked potato stand hasn't been open for either game. For the Rush game, we took along some friends who also attended the Avs/Devils game that afternoon, and they said not only was the potato stand open for that one, but they bought a couple. I know that times are tough for everyone, but with the amount of people in need of work it would seem there would be a way to find the one person needed to get this stand open. Whenever it is, the line is long. Good, possibly more healthy food than some of the others available. I know the Mammoth draws well enough to make it feasible. It seems like other concessions aren't open for the Mammoth games either, but the baked potato stand is the one that we miss most. Is there any hope, or do only Nuggets and Avs fans get potatoes?
We also noticed the upper level score/hustle board wasn't up on Saturday. Somebody asked me during the game how many goals Prossner had scored at that point (great game, Jed, by the way) and we had to guess. Another cost cutting move?
Finally, the friends we brought on Saturday were totally new to the game. They had a great time and I'm sure they'll be back. One of them had a question I hadn't heard before: Why do they use white balls? He said he was having a lot of trouble following the ball with the white boards/lines/uniforms everywhere. Honestly I've never had any trouble following the play or the ball, just a comment/question from a newbie I thought I'd pass along. I know some other leagues use orange balls....
We bought extra season tickets this season, and we're trying to bring along someone new to each game. We'll have a new pair there on Friday. Thanks again for your time and effort, and sorry to bother you with these questions!
