here is some info from the NLL Insider release today about it.
Meanwhile Catton, who went unpenalized during the Colorado MammothÂ’s opening weekend game against the Washington Stealth, was found to have made significant contact to the facemask/head of Stealth forward Rhys Duch during the third period of the MammothÂ’s 17-8 loss, when the game tape was later reviewed by the league. Although Duch was knocked down to the floor after the alleged high hit, game officials did not call a penalty.
Catton has however appealed the suspension, which allowed him to play in the MammothÂ’s Week 2 game against the Edmonton Rush. As of today, Mammoth GM and head coach Steve Govett tells NLL Insider that the team had not heard when CattonÂ’s arbitration or appeal might be heard.
