Ok, I don't think anyone got together last week so how about this weekend? There are no Mammoth games but Easter is on Sunday. I vote for Saturday and at a new location since Gateway doesn't look like it will work anymore. Suggestions? Maybe up north somewhere?

I should be available both days, but I think Saturday would be better.

We can try that school down off Chenango & Broadway again.

I'd also recommend Congress Park, at 9th & Elizabeth in Denver has a soccer field, along with some other fields. The soccer field runs east/west on the south side of the park, along 8th Avenue. And iirc on the north side of the field, it had a stone wall that was at least several feet tall, which would be a nice natural barrier to throw against.

Since when are stone walls "natural barriers?"

I would probably be better for Sunday (I work Saturday night, late), but it doesn't really matter. I'm able to get myself to Denver, but I might need a ride to whereever we're meeting.

Ok, it's about as natural as that wood wall we used as a backstop at Gateway. :)

Unless it would be after noon, we're out for Saturday, and still unsure about Sunday. Don't know yet when the family is getting together.

Congress Park was one of the places I was thinking of too! It would be a lot more central than either the school on Chenango or Gateway.

I'm in for either day, barring weather issues. I'm looking forward to it. I'm getting a little stir crazy here in "the OC". I need to run around and burn off some energy.

Easter has no impact on my schedule. So whenever.

Not planning on it. I hope to get it to someone this week. I can probably take it to Voodoo's since he said either day works. Let me know

Well, the weather is supposed to take a turn for the worse and rain everyday, including Saturday. Also, the high is supposed to be in the 40's. So, should we cancel LAX 101 for this weekend and shoot for next weekend?

When have you seen them predict weather 4 days out and be right? Wait til Friday and see with your own eyes what it looks like. I don't care which day. Since I will most likely be on crutches.

Well, 36 hours until Saturday practice time, and the forecast is now 30's with light snow.

Sunday looks a little better with the high in the 50's and some sun.

Did we ever nail down a location?

We're out for Sunday. Family finally decided on when we're getting together which of course is perfectly in conflict with Lax101, and while I'd rather play lacrosse, family wins out.

So, someone should take charge and set a date. I'm not sure if I'll be able to come. Have to decide if I'm going back to Kiowa for Easter. After last lax 101, the car broke down, so I won't be able to get there if I'm in Kiowa. If I'm in Boulder for the weekend, I can catch the bus to Denver, but I'll need help figuring out how to get to wherever we're practicing. So, we'll see.

Someone just be a man, suck it up and set a time and place. I'll see what I can do from there.

I think that "someone" you reffered to should be the person currently in possesion of the net.

I was actually referring to you or Scott. Karin has the net right now, doesn't she? But she's gonna be in Nevada. So maybe we need to work that out?
