I'm pretty sure Screwcalgary isn't going. It's kind of a trek for us - he's in SW Denver (more like Morrison) and I'm in SW Denver, Bear Valley area. If ya'all ever decide on one over this way, we'd really like to know. My son is going to start having games in April at Harvey Park. Until then, I guess their league is having an 'open practice' / game on Saturdays.

both ronin and i live in bear valley and we are going. you need a better excuse than that.

Okay, okay...don't soil yourself just yet.

We just took the head off the shaft to put the goalie head on it. The free goalie stick that came with the net had a plastic handle (not even hard plastic) and couldn't support actually being used.

So, we did some surgery and used your shaft.
Feel special: you helped us realize that even with a new shaft, that head isn't worth a sh!t. 8)

I'm fixing it tonight; don't worry.

I think it is a trek for Scott too but he is a faithful. Plus we have people from Westminster, Chatfield and Highlands Ranch. You will need a much better excuse. Lazy, drunk, lazy, just don't want to, lazy, Ninja hit me in the face with a stick last time and lazy are all good ones.

Well, it looks like I'm coming. I'm definitely not in great shape, so it'll be tough on me, but I'm eager to learn some things. Plus, it'll be another girl for Karin to beat up on, lol. My lax stick is a little too clean and purdy, let's put it to some use. =)

We will play it by ear. If the fields are clear I say we start at the monster and scrim on the field.

I've found all of two references for anything resembling public handball courts in Denver: one supposedly at DU, one supposedly at City Park.

I've seen a map of City Park, and while there are half a dozen baseball/softball fields, several football & soccer fields, a lacrosse/field hockey field, and bunch of tennis courts, nothing was specifically marked for handball.

Otherwise, outside of a softball diamond at least giving us a backstop if we continue to need it, I'm out of ideas. :)

it actually looks alot better today. and doesnt hurt. most of the cuts have healed. i should have taken a pic yesterday and posted it. it isnt as cool today.

in 2 weeks we have had 4 injuries. jessi's leg. voodoo's head-sorry bout that, my eye and dani's third knee she is probably growin from gettin beand with the ball.

very good reason to invest in equip.

Oh, you scared the crap out of us. Spike taking a hit to the head and going down silently is kinda scary. Voodoo said he was making fun of you, just hoping to get you to swear at him, lol. But glad to hear it's looking better. As for me, my knee hurts, but it honestly doesn't look too awful. Bruised, but not too swollen. I'm not even sure who got me. Was it Chad?

I had a great time, though. I'm gonna try to make it next week, but it'll be a lot farther from me since I'll be on Spring break. I'll actually have to pay for my own gas. :o I also might bring Toast as well as my little brother. We'll see how it works out.
