nope. didnt get back to the shop till bout 1pm. the game would have been almost over by the time i would have made it. if i dont have to work next weekend, im gonna go to that one, after practice. if we have practice.

i know you bus it as i do. i might have a vehicle for the weekend. i might be able to give you a ride to the game and then home. nothing is certian yet but i will let you know. if i do, then you can bring your own damn stick. jk.

if we do, i will cook. i have a grill as well but no way to transport it. if someone with a truck can help or can bring a grill, we can do burgers and brats or whatever. i can cook anything on the grill. and its damn good too. just ask ronin or pythia.

Ahh, well, you didn't really miss a whole lot. We went, and the weather got kind of crappy by the time the game got going: cloudy, it started cooling off, and windy.

DU really didn't play well at all. They played even with Stony Brook for the first 10-15 minutes, and then the life kind of went out of them until the beginning of the 4th, when they got 3 goals during a 3-minute illegal stick penalty (the third of the game, 2nd against Stony Brook). But they didn't do anything again after that.

In the end, DU shot themselves in the foot with dumb penalties, because it seemed like Stony Brook scored on every man up chance they were given.

I had a great time as well. It seems the older I get it seems that all great times involve consiquences. I should have been smart and purchased goalie gear instead of a new middie stick and the monster. It seems that it is much hard for me to "not run" than anticipated. Luckily I am not down for the count but as I don't want a 3rd surgery I will not be scrimming much for at least another month or 2. If you see over doing it please feel free to slash me in my good leg. That aside. I am ready for this weekend. I will toss up a new post shortly (work calls).

well i guess its good that i missed it. i hate payin money for games in bad weather and end in my team losing.

this saturday should be a good game though. the weather should be nice.
