Mr. Govett,
I understand that this team is a younger version. But I would like to know if this is the product the management was anticipating putting on the field?
In most sports getting younger is code for 'rebuilding', yet you seemed to indicate that this influx in younger players would pay immediate dividends, so is this still the case or has this new group of players affected the Mammoth's chances of competing on a high level?
Thanks.

As with any new project it comes with ups and downs. Did we anticipate losing two games in miserable fashion, HELL NO!! Sometimes things get away from you, both those games did, the Portland game especially, amazingly we won the second half of that game as well as the game against Edmonton. In essence we have lost two halves this season.

We feel like diagnosing Gee's situation has addressed much of our concerns and the confidence level of the defense has increased tremendously, allowing us to emphasize our transition. This gives the offense the opportunity to not have to get us back into the game on every possession.

We are starting to feel better about our changes and will let you know towards the end of the season what we feel our chances are like with the new crew.

Steve,

It looks like the team is coming together. Honestly, all I care is what happens at the end of the season. Lets bring the Champions Cup back to Denver!
