not going to say anything about the game, but that was one of the best intros i have ever seen. probably just because rise against is my favorite band but i thought that it was a very good intro. thank you.

It's certainly the best in the past 3 years. My wife and I liked it too.

Steve,

Keep that intro, it is better than the one we had last year...!

It's cool and all, but it seems a little ironic to use an intro featuring mammoth skulls... We usually prefer them pre-extinction.

I've liked all of the intros the Mammoth have used over the years (06's was my favorite) but I agree this one was above average.

If someone could tell me the name of the song used in the intro, I would appreciate it!

I agree with all above. That was the best intro the franchise has had since the snow and ice cave.

The song used in the intro was Re-Education (Through Labor) by Rise Against off their album Appeal To Reason.

Thanks for the info. Seemed like a good song for the iPod!

As this topic is in the Ask the GM forum I will comment that I enjoyed the video a great deal as well. I think our new Director of Game Entertainment, Steve Johnson will be a welcome addition to what's become the "Mammoth show".

It was tough to watch but Steve and Willie B. were working awfully hard on Saturday night. Far harder than I have ever seen before and far harder than I want them to work again.

best announcer out there. I brought someone who has never been involved with lacrosse in any way and that was the big coment she made. She said the in game entertainment and announcer were the best she'd ever seen.

She also couldn't believe that all of the fans were still there at the end of the game and still loud! Needless to say she made me get her more tickets!!

The only thing I noticed was, player intros were very off. The names on the screen didn't match either Willie or when the player came out. I know this doesn't really mean that much, just something the little lady and I noticed.

I saw that in the pre-season game as well and thought it was just because of the fill-in guy for WIllie B. Also it is hard to hear the names because it is so loud. I think they need to turn up his mic during the name intros.

I thought the same thing, but when it happened Saturday, it's obvious they need to sync better and practice it a bit more.
