It's not that, I just think that constantly picking apart the GM's statements are rather annoying. I don't think that SG would go to your office and tell you how to do your job, so what makes any of us think that we can tell him how to do his?

This is such a joke of an argument. To apply this argument also means I cannot pick apart anything the players do, even though they're also public figures. Maybe I shouldn't criticize government officials, either.

It's part of being a fan, and as long as nobody is being abusive or insulting, there's no harm in it. And when you get down to it, we do have a different perspective than the players or the front office.

What I find to be silly though is msteinbeck is criticized in another thread for not contributing, and then he's criticized in this thread for contributing. He's making great points, so I say let him run wild.

This forum was created so that you all could ask about anything Mammoth. I have no problem with Mr. Steinbeck's questions, I have no problem with his rebuttal. The process is a healthy one. I just want you guys to know we aren't as dumb as you think we are! Or maybe we are!!!!!

I wanted an outlet to bring you as far inside the team as I possibly could. Some of you have very great perspective and ideas, I appreciate the input, even this thread has forced us to look at our offense from a different perspective.

As long as this is an intelligent forum for discussion, I hope that we will all learn something. The challenge is that only 390 or so of our 17,500 fans and 9,000 season ticket holders are here on the forum. I would love to see it grow.

And I would be happy to come to any of your jobs and tell you how to do them, that would be fun!!!!!

SG

I'll start, no more "border checks" 40 miles north of the border just to check if someone is a US Citizen.
