This message board. F.cking sick of people complaining about the refs. If they call everything...**** **** ****. If they let them play...**** **** ****. The refs suck. And have since the inception of the league. Every fan in the league knows it. Every player in the league knows it. SHUT THE F.CK UP. If you don't f.cking like it, don't go to the f.cking game

I had to look a little deeper to find your rant, ummmm, Spike. If you are going to be satisfied with that brand of officiating, then you clearly don't care about the Mammoth. You must be doing it for the groupies, right?

She's gone total vegan now, so I imagine it gave you 467% more daily fiber than you're used to.

I'm not satisfied with it but whinnying about it, especially to the GM is just stupid. The refs have sucked forever. Everyone knows it. Including govett. I've even heard an ex ref say that they suck. The league refuses to change it, after continued complaints from fans, players, coaches and GM's. It appears that its never gona change. The point of my rant was that its just annoying to hear people continuously complain about it.

Whatever. You clearly crossed the line there. If that was the point of your rant, you could have stopped with that. The bottom line is the officiating could have very well impacted the result of the game. I'm not the only one questioning it. If you don't want to question it, then feel free to STFU. Accept BS that negatively impacts you. Go through your 'routine' and have a great time.

Just because the incompetent zebras have always been incompetent does not mean that continued, impactful BS should be shrugged off. If the NLL refuses to stand for this anymore and does something about it, maybe a positive result can be achieved.

Yes. Absolutely. There are, however, a lot of things to do in Denver on weekend nights.

I never threatened to not go to the games. We have been to every single one since who knows when.

Every season we get more of our friends into the games.

Several of our friends who WERE season ticket holders, however, have stopped going to the games. There are a variety of reasons for that.

Like I've said, I'm not a good loser. This season in particular has not been at the top of the fun scale.

Well there is your answer.

As a business, if you have hard to find refs and the fans are still coming then why mess with it. Lord knows I agree that the refs suck and should at least be publicly held accountable but if all that is going to happen is that people **** on a message board.... It will never change.

I agree Ninja that the weight and importance of message boards is basically nil. I disagree, though, that the only way to achieve positive change is to stop caring or stop going to the games. While that may ultimately be the end result if things do not improve, I hope there is something that might be done.

That is why I posted in the GM thread. Are these guys reviewed? Are there any actions taken after bad games? Is there any accountability? No one seems to have an answer for that.

I can't imagine I'm the only one who thinks that the Mammoth do not get a fair whistle on a regular basis. It seemed blatantly one sided the other night. At least to me.

From what I've read on the other board it seems like what we suffered through may have been minor compared to other games around the league.

Search on the big board for threads about crap reffing. You will find postings that have been there longer than you have known about lacrosse. My point is you are not a pioneer, it's been done. People who have been around the league a looong time have talked to big wigs face to face. Bottom line.... No refs = no games. No refs will fold the league much faster than pissed fans who aren't even hurting ticket sales.

B*itch all you want just dont expect people wanting to hear it.

@banditfan11 each referee performance is reviewed, graded and critiqued each week. future game assignments are based on evaluations

Now, whether you think such evaluations mean anything...

Going to a movie on an off night during and off showing and still dealing with people talking through the movie. Even after moving, we could still clearly hear all 3 groups.

People with their heads firmly shoved up their backsides, since they were out in force before, during, and after the Avs/Blackhawks game tonight.

Actually, we had some clearly drunk ones near us last night. Ushers talked to them several times but didn't throw them out, and at one point, one goes up and comes back forever later with more beer. I still can't believe somebody served the guy. :x
