An hour ago Jenner tweeted that the Mammoth have cut both Alex Gajic and Shewchuk.

Today is roster day.

An article on NLL.com says the Mammoth have two more cuts to make. Transactions haven't been updated yet to confirm A. Gajic and Shewchuk were cut, but if they have been, I have the roster at 26 with 3 goalies.

I'd guess we'll go with 2 goalies instead of 3. I'm kinda surprised all 3 of our draft picks have made it this far, but I'd be surprised if Demopoulos makes the opening day roster.

Looks like the remaining moves were Demopoulos to Practice Squad, Jarret Park to IR, and presumably Lewis was cut, as Roik is the 2nd goalie.

Also, Dan Carey has announced his retirement from the league. According to an NLLInsider article, he suffered another concussion toward the end of last season. :(

Man, that sucks to hear.
He would have had an amazing career if peopld didn't take such liberties with high hits.

IL Indoor is reporting that Eric Martin will be signing a contract with the Mammoth and will be joining the practice squad.

I haven't seen any Mayans today, so I guess their calendar ended.

Oh, for christ's....

If Brian Spallina untucks his balls and starts playing indoor, I guaran-damn-tee that it'll be for the Mammoth; I'm apparently that damn cursed.

Updated to note the Dalgarno/Martin moves.

Hopefully after last night Martin moves back to the unemployed-in-the-NLL line. :?

It took awhile, but finally Martin has been released. Even better: Park activated

NLL transactions has made it official with Roik out and Belanger in.

I'll be curious to see who gets the start Saturday night.

Transactions page never updated for the suspensions, but most of 'em are being appealed anyways.

Hotaling signed and added to the active roster. We've held his rights since the Boston dispersal draft. But somebody's yet to be cut to match his activation.

At this rate, the page won't be updated again until some time Monday. :?

My guess is Chet is gone. No point in having the kid if he is constantly suspended.

Definitely curious about Koneczny. Lots of potential there, but definitely some very stupid decisions that has cost him and the team.

Gallant to IR. That's what, 4 weeks minimum?

Sullivan traded, Koneczny will miss 4 of the final 5, and now this. Ouch.

Did anyone see what happened to him? I was watching the ball and looked back just to see him falling to the turf.

Watched most of the game off the DVR tonight: Culp got him high, but it looked like in the shoulder area, not the head; it was one of the 5-minute majors on Buffalo. I was told he was in the tunnels toward the end of the game in street clothes, but it doesn't sound like he was in a brace or anything.

Edit: League just posted a summary/update of suspensions and stuff. Koneczny's 'salute' was reduced from a 2 game suspension to 1 game, so he'll start serving a total of 3 games this weekend. Morgan will also serve his suspension this Saturday.

Smith's instigator was upheld.

Per the Mammoth, they've activated Hawksbee and signed Orsen (whom they also held the rights to).

Edit: Gastaldo has also gone on IR.
