Ed Hochulie (sp?)

Replacement refs are only an issue becuase the NFL media has made them an issue.

(I await Ronin's snarky rebuttal.)

No, I'm with you. They can go screw.

Well, if it helps (it won't), they've been tacking on new closures and crap for the last week.

I saw it suggested tonight that people traveling east-west take Alameda. Obviously said by somebody who's never actually driven on Alameda.

Alameda definitely sucks, but in the mornings at least, it is better than Evans.

I guess so. But they're talking about this afternoon & evening, for the most part, when roads will be closed.

I expect Speer & Cherry Creek to be an absolute nightmare as people try to get to Colorado Blvd and further east trying to get around this crap.

On the plus side, at least, their outside relations guy got back to me very quickly about my questions; the problem is they still haven't updated anything on their site.
The original plan was apparently changed at the last minute and instead of closing the road at High Street, they moved it a couple blocks west to Franklin, which royally screwed everything up because the parking garage my complex was told to park in (since they finally completed the half mile long fence directly out my front door,) is right on the corner of Buchtel and HIgh. Then, the only route that you could take to get through, (which nobody told anyone about before,) was bogged down by trucks unloading stuff when I tried to get home for lunch yesterday.

Now this morning, they forgot to mention that all cars going into that parking garage have to be searched, so two days in a row my lunch plans (and carpet) get hammered because I can't get home and back in the time I have planned.

Think I can bill both parties for carpet cleaning? Probably shouldn't; might be labeled a t'rrist.

Still, I'm looking forward to playing "Spot the Sharpshooter" on the walk from the garage to my apartment when I get home tonight.

That I watch Criminal Minds....

The little girl who is missing is a 5th grader at the school I teach at. I can't think positively because of what I've seen on TV.

I will never ever look at an amber alert the same way again

They will always be, my friend. So look at it this way...people need jobs and you are paying their salary. Thus, you are helping the economy by virtue of enjoyment. 8)

So how stoned/drunk do you have to be to actually walk into a person on a revving motorcycle?

Let's not jump the gun and rule out natural stupidity, here.

This year I decided to trade in my old Christmas lights and invest in the LED kind. The day after I put up my new lights squirrels chewed through two sets of them. Let's see how they like cayenne flavored lights...

Probably more than ones that taste like buckshot, but to each their own.
