Aw, sorry. Statements like that make me very grateful for the ones I have.

If you're ever ready for another one, I pretty much always know of one that needs a home. I work at a vet hospital, and right now, we have a dog that was relinquished to us. She was hit by a car and broke her back leg. They had no money and wouldn't take her anywhere that might amputate the leg since they just couldn't stand to look at her with 3 legs. ?? Annoying - I've had a 3 legged dog, they do just fine!

One of our specialists fixed the leg at a reduced cost for us, she's 8 months old and very sweet. A brindle mix, about 30 pounds.

If anyone knows anyone that might be interested, please message me!

That's definitely sad. If you're up for it, you might consider volunteering at one of the local animal shelters. Don't know how the others are, but at MaxFund you can volunteer to just come in and walk/play with the dogs and since there's no worry of animals being euthanized like at other shelters, there's less guilt and desire to take them all home with you. (At least, that's how it is for me.) That way you can get some puppy love until you're ready for another one.

Much to dangerous.... I have gone back and forth over adopting a new pup. The reality is my lifestyle is really not fair to a dog. My 10-12 hour days get in the way, and the social life definitely suffers. Maggie was a champ being slowly broke into that, but it would just be wrong to a new pup. So an empty house :(

Culture Club.

Actually, 80s music in general. I don't actually have much affinity for Culture Club specifically.
