But to you and whoever else was involved in getting 15 games (!!) aired on altitude, you have my gratitude.

I will have 50 monkeys showering you in fake gold coins on opening day. Unless that is just too wierd, then I will call it off.

Thank you for the kind thoughts, bottom line, many people had a hand in figuring out a way to put the Mammoth back on Altitude. Many thanks to everyone within KSE and Altitude as well as other teams around the League for their cooperation.

We have modified the way we use the existing feed from the game production to be able to do a television broadcast. Lots of technical aspects but we have eliminated the need for a production truck, very expensive and costly to rent. By exploring other technologies we have found a way to broadcast the home games less expensively.

The games won't be in HD, and may not match what Mammoth games were from a production standard in years past, but the bottom line is we wanted to get them back on the air. We believe we can put a good product on the air in order to have people inside and outside our market enjoy our games.

This feed will also be used as our webcast feed so both Altitude and the NLL network will be one in the same this year.

As for the away games, each team is required to produce a webcast quality feed. We thought that it would be great for our fans that would rather it be broadcast on television to have access to it on a tape delayed basis. The tape delay may play at off peak times but will be available for DVR or other recordings so people can watch it at their leisure.
We are looking at this mostly as a service to those that would like to watch our away games but may already know the results so they can enjoy the game on demand after its initial air date.

We realize that this may not be the absolute best possible scenario for Mammoth television but we also realize that it is a great deal better than what we were facing a month ago.

Thanks for your support and happy viewing.

SG

Hey having any of the games on TV is a plus, once again thank you for giving me the chance to watch these games!!! My work schedule keeps me from being able to go to many of the games and caused me to give up my season tickets  but this still allows me to be a huge fan of this great team!

Steve,

From California I can say "thanks" and that I will be able to enjoy the games on TV instead of on my computer!

Is the league still working on a TV deal? For thought, I was wondering if the league has explored working with the NHL Network to have some games televised.
