Hi all,
Judging from some of the back and forth on other threads, it seems that we are getting back into the swing of Mammoth lacrosse season.
First, welcome to all the people who chose to join these forums over the off season. It's good to have more and more fans joining the ranks of the Mammoth family.
I want to take a moment, before anything becomes really heated to remind everyone that even though we may disagree with others on the board, and that discussions can get heated due to personality conflicts, we are still all fans of the game of lacrosse.
This is easy to tell because you are here. I've said before that being a fan of this game takes effort. If you want to follow a team, you have to do the legwork as a lacrosse fan. ESPN and the evening news aren't going to do it for you. You'll have to follow blogs, read websites, listen to podcasts and watch games on a tiny window over the internet. You will have to get second hand accounts of games and have to interpret what happend from a raw boxscore with no story along with it. As a fan, you are your best friend and your worst enemy. Never forget, that NFL fans don't have to do even a 5th of the work you do. That's not a positive or a negative, it just IS.
Please remember those things when participating in this board. Know that the people you are talking with have to do the exact same things that you have to do to follow the sport, and we'll all get along acceptably.

Thanks, from the moderator.

This is more important now than ever. We are all frustrated, but friends, lets keep it that way.
