While I would have loved a Mammoth win it was so nice to see this organization be a class act. The tribute to Gavin was perfect, and as an avid fan of his it was nice to see that the Mammoth continue to show the class that makes this the first rate organization it is.
For whatever role you had in making sure that he was given the level of respect he deserves I just wanted to thank you.

The decision to honor Gavin in that small way was a very simple one. The decision to move him was not, I will always have a great respect for Gavin and what he did for this organization and I was able to share a hug with him in the Blue Sky after the game. He will always occupy a very special place in Mammoth history.

Our goal now is to look foward and not backward, I have no regrets with our decision and beleive that this team is destined for greatness with the amazing young players we have brought in.

I can only hope that we deliver on the covenant that we have with our fans to provide an exciting, winning product.
