Hmmm! Interesting question, one that I really can't answer, but interesting nonetheless!
Singling out a player like that could be construed as tampering, so I will stay away from it.
Any time we have events like All Star Games, National Teams or the Australian NLL Showcase you get exposed to great players and the best part is you get to know them as individuals. Sometimes you stow that information away and when you have the chance you jump at the opportunity to acquire people.
Chad Culp is a great example of that, he was with us in Australia and was a real treat to be around, always a smile on his face, always excited to participate in whatever was asked of him. When the chance came up for us to make a trade for him, I was very excited because we were able to get to know him off the floor. On the floor everyone can see how good a player is, but really understanding what type of person they are is most valuable.
I certainly have a list of favorite players for lots of reasons, 23 of them are on the Mammoth right now, there are a few that I will admire from afar for the time being.
