I imagine the cost would be too big for the NLL, but is there any kind of drug testing policy in the NLL? Has this ever been a concern with all of the increasing doping cases across multiple sports recently?

Interestingly enough our Collective Bargaining Agreement with the players does provide for random drug testing. It has for many years had the possibility of drug testing for recreational drugs, recently, in the last CBA, there was language that was injected that included testing for banned performance enhancing drugs.

It is somewhat cost prohibitive for the NLL, but we also don't believe that there is a signficant problem in the League. I don't want to be a "bury my head in the sand GM", I am sure that someone is doing it, but I don't see it as an epidemic in lacrosse. Our goal is to remain vigilent in our ability to test if it looks like its becoming a problem for us.
