In the event that Rochester finishes the season with a better record and that the Cup game is a Khawks/Mammoth game, where will the game be held? Word around the campfire is that the Khawks arena has been booked for that day already and the game cannot be held there. Will it default to Denver, or will it be moved to a neutral site?

You are correct. In fact this was just discussed today on the NLL Playoff Committee.

The arena is booked for the Championship timeslot for the NLL. Apparently they have the circus booked in the Blue Cross Arena and will not be able to host the game on that date.

There are several discussions going on about a possible remedy. Nothing has been set in stone and may not be for some time. There are other possiblities being considered, moving the date, moving the game to Buffalo or simply moving the game to the western representative.

Lots can happen between now and then.

I think everyone in the National Lacrosse League wants to reward their fans by hosting the Championship game, Rochester is no exception. It would be a shame if that could not happen, if they are eliglbe and qualify to host.

I can assure all Mammoth fans that the Championship date of May 12 is locked onto the Pepsi Center Master schedule if the Mammoth are fortunate enough to host the game here in Denver.
