A question has arisen regarding the seeding for the playoffs, and it hasn't come up on previous years.
The NLL.com article states the following:
"Following the conclusion of the regular season on April 26th, the eight playoff teams will receive an overall seeding number (#1 through #8). The overall seeding number is used to determine which Divisional Final winner will host the Championship Game. The team with the best regular season record will be the #1 overall seed, and would have home floor throughout the playoffs, including the Championship Game."
This leads me to believe that the teams will be ranked #1 through 8 based simply on record and tiebreakers. This would place the Mammoth at #5 overall at this point.
However, somebody else has said that whomever wins the West will be #1 or #2 in the seedings, regardless of how the teams are in relation to the teams from the other division.
Can we get a more detailed breakdown of how the overall seedings will work once the regular season is over with?
