Steve,
I was just wondering, if there was any talk or interest about a lacrosse video game being made. I have seen the AFL ones and thought that a lacrosse one would profit well in certain areas. Any thought's?

I'm not Steve Govett, but the latest word on this was that we still might see a game next year from Activision Value - but then, this game has been promised for a couple of years now.

However, from the info that's been given, we have no idea as to the current status of this game, whether it's actually being made, or whether it's been scrapped. I contacted Activision Value at one point, and they refused to even acknowledge that they were or had ever worked on a lacrosse game.

Also, last December, Activision announced they would be merging with Vivendi Games (owners of Blizzard) to form Activision Blizzard. It's possible that this merger could potentially leave Activision Value's future up in the air, but so far I've not read anything one way or the other.

Edit: Just received the May 2008 issue of Game Informer. Inside is a quick note that Variety was reporting that due to the Activision/Vivendi merger, all future products at Sierra (yet another Vivendi division) are under review.

Man, I really miss the days of companies like Microprose, Sierra, Firaxis Games all putting out quality products as independent companies... now most have disappeared after being sucked into the behemoth that was until recently Vivendi Games.

If it's on the Wii imagine the wicked shots and crosse checks, playing goalie would rock too, wrap checks would be wicked awesome three.

I'm sure they wouldn't put that amount of development into a lowly NLL game, that has been delayed countless times. Then again, they don't put much development efforts into any Nintendo games lately. (ouch)

Oh god, I hope it's coming soon, and on the PS3. :p
