Not that they've really been given a chance to succeed on or off the floor in recent years. Their current ownership group seems like they just don't give a crap any more.

Heard rumors in back in April or May, but didn't want to believe they might be true. Hopefully they will find another ownership group quickly.

Wow. Blasting fans to renew tickets the same day they announce they are done. This is not a good sign for the NLL as a whole.

The Wings in limbo, however, are still a better shot at the NLL title than the Mammoth, according to that sportsbook.

Who would Colorado like in a Wings disposal draft?

Survival of the NLL.

I don't know, Wing Nut.

The obvious area of need for the Mammoth is defense, but I don't know enough about the Wings D to know who would be considered ahead of Crowley, Merrill or Hall.

Who is your best lock down guy with potential?

And who isn't afraid of heading west? Clearly that matters in that scenario.

The defense was heavy on Americans.

I think Brett Manney would be an option. If he wants to travel. He lives in Baltimore. Did fly out to San Jose / Washington. Rest of the defense is heavy on Americans on the east coast. Who are developing.

Merrill
Crowley
Hall
Kirk

Figure they go top four in some order. Garrett Thul is an interesting prospect. 6'4 lefty shooter. However, his army commitments might make it impossible.

I'd say take the best player available at the point where your selection comes up.

I'd rank the top four:

1 Hall
2 Crowley
3 Merrill
4 Kirk

Minnesota is always a wild card in any draft, maybe SG can swing a deal to get pick 2 from them in a possible dispersal and can address additional scoring and transition/D with Merrill. Of course you can't have enough goaltending in this league and a Ward/Kirk tandem would be very solid for the next 8-10 years.

Manney or Manley or Ranagan might be worthy second rounders. Most teams won't pick Rabil in the first round so may be able to convince him to fly in and steal him in the second. He'd definitely help the transition game.
