Mammoth Opens Wild Bunch Auditions to Public
The Colorado Mammoth announced today that the preliminary rounds of Wild Bunch dance team auditions will be open to the public for the first time in team history. Auditions will be held on Saturday, November 10 at 12:00pm at Paramount Theatre (1621 Glenarm Place) in downtown Denver.
“The Mammoth organization prides itself on the unprecedented accessibility of our players, dancers and staff to our fans and the local community,” said Mammoth president & general manager Steve Govett. “Giving the public the chance to help us in the selection process of the 2013 Wild Bunch dance team is another example of this.”
Every attendee will have the opportunity to vote by selecting one dancer they wish to make the team. The top two vote-getters will automatically advance to the semifinal round.
“I’m excited to let the fans decide who they want to represent the organization and the Wild Bunch for the coming year, and to give them a better appreciation of the tremendous performers and rigorous process we put women through as we pick the top 14,” said Amy Jo Wagner, the dance team manager.
Tickets to the auditions will be sold at the door and cost just $5. Complimentary parking will be available to audition attendees at the 410 Building Parking Garage (410 Tremont Place – between 16th & 17th Street). Theatre doors will open for the event at 11:30am.
