CASEY POWELL BACK IN ORANGE, THIS TIME FOR LEUKEMIA
In the late ‘90s, Casey Powell dominated college lacrosse. A four-time All-America selection at Syracuse University, Powell was named the top attackman, top midfielder, and nation’s best player. For four years, his run with the Orange was unprecedented. On March 8, Powell will once again wear orange – this time, in an effort to ‘Lacrosse Out’ Leukemia.
“My mom is a cancer survivor, and my high school lacrosse coach (and hero) is currently battling cancer,” said Powell. “I play the game in their honor, and for those who continue to fight this terrible disease.”
