McNAMARA'S JERSEY THE FINAL FOR BREAST CANCER
Mammoth defenseman Mike McNamara was signed by the team in December as a free agent. The 24-year-old is a big, strong body on the defensive end for Colorado who possesses a mean-streak on the turf. But those who know him see a softer side and an incredibly caring person. It’s that Mike McNamara who wants to ‘Lacrosse Out’ Breast Cancer on March 8.
“I’m playing for individuals and their families who have been affected by breast cancer and have had to deal with the loss of mothers, sisters and daughters,” said McNamara. “Without them cheering us on as we grew up, we wouldn’t be where we are today.”

Net proceeds benefit Barbells for Boobs, a non-profit organization that provides funding to pay for breast cancer detection services as a last resort for thousands of people who don't qualify for assistance elsewhere. Its aim is to help anyone that needs it, anywhere, whether they are male or female, no matter what their age or situation in life.
