TO A MANN: CAMERON’S JERSEY TO ‘LACROSSE OUT’ COLON CANCER
Colorado Mammoth transition player Cameron Mann knows first-hand how devastating colon cancer can be. During his collegiate career at Jacksonville University, the reality of the disease hit home for the Ontario native.
“My good friend and teammate passed away from colon cancer after getting diagnosed my sophomore year,” said the rookie.
Mann’s ‘Lacrosse Out’ Colon Cancer jersey, which he will wear on March 8, is now in an online auction benefiting Rocky Mountain Cancer Assistance, a Colorado-based nonprofit organization that provides financial assistance for the basic living needs of cancer patients receiving treatment in the Centennial State.
