Mammoth Big Dig Begins Monday

The Colorado Mammoth announced today that the team is hosting a ‘Big Dig’ contest that begins this Monday, January 9. The grand-prize winner will receive a pair of 2012 Mammoth season tickets on the glass, as well as a Brian Langtry autographed, game-worn jersey.
Contestants are tasked with deciphering clues which will lead them to each of the 10 hidden ‘Brian Langtry Night’ autographed lacrosse balls, some of which will be positioned virtually. The first person to find each ball will be named a semifinalist, and will compete in a skills competition on Saturday, January 14 on HealthONE Field at Pepsi Center. Three finalists will then compete at halftime of the Mammoth’s home opener that night, with the victor earning the grand prize.
“The ‘Big Dig’ is a great precursor to Opening Night, and will build excitement among Mammoth fans as we anxiously await January 14,” said Steve Govett, the team’s president and general manager.
All semifinalists will win tickets to Opening Night, as the Mammoth retires Brian Langtry’s #6 jersey and raises it to the Pepsi Center rafters. The two runner-ups will also receive a pair of tickets to another 2012 Mammoth home game.
