Mammoth Announces 2012 TV Broadcast Schedule on Altitude Sports
The Colorado Mammoth announced today that Altitude Sports & Entertainment will broadcast 13 Colorado Mammoth lacrosse games during the 2012 National Lacrosse League season. Mammoth coverage begins with the season opener January 14th at 7pm MST against the Minnesota Swarm at Pepsi Center. Altitude will also utilize its second channel, Altitude 2, for 4 games this season.
“It’s an incredible opportunity to have Altitude broadcast Mammoth games, and provides a great footprint to showcase the game of lacrosse to those who are unfamiliar with it,” said Mammoth President and General Manager Steve Govett.
“Altitude is excited to bring Mammoth lacrosse to our viewers,” said Kim Carver, President and CEO of Altitude Sports. “We are proud supporters of the Mammoth and look forward to a great season with a roster that includes a number of new, exciting players.”
Each Mammoth home game aired on Altitude will be televised live, while road games will be shown on a short delay. Josh Gross will provide play-by-play analysis and Andy Lindahl will provide color commentary for home game broadcasts.
In addition to Altitude’s Mammoth game coverage, Altitude will broadcast a special 2012 Colorado Mammoth Season Preview Show debuting Monday, December 26th at 9:30pm MST. With features by Altitude’s Maya Starks, Josh Gross, and Andy Lindahl, the 2012 Colorado Mammoth Season Preview Show will get fans up-to-date on which veterans will be returning to the team, and which new faces to watch for. Altitude will also broadcast a special Mammoth season preparation episode of KSE: Behind the Experience which runs throughout the month of December. Maya Starks will take viewers behind-the-scenes to see how Kroenke Sports & Entertainment prepares for the upcoming Mammoth season.
