2014 Season Tickets

The Colorado Mammoth announced today that it will open its 12th season in the National Lacrosse League at home against the Edmonton Rush on Saturday, December 28 at 7pm MT. The game kicks off the NLL’s 2014 campaign, one in which teams will play a record 18 regular-season games (up from 16).

“Even though it’s still several months away, the anticipation for Opening Night from our players, coaches and fans is overwhelming,” said Steve Govett, the team’s president and general manager. “With the schedule out and the date of our home-opener now official, we can start counting down the days.”

One-hundred-and-sixteen days, to be exact. Included in that time: the NLL Combine and Entry Draft; the unveiling of Pepsi Center’s new video scoreboard and sound system; the official announcement of the team’s theme nights; and training camp.

“It’s going to be a busy few months,” continued Govett. “Lacrosse season is quickly approaching.”

Colorado will host seven unique opponents in its nine-game home schedule. The two-time defending NLL champion Rochester Knighthawks invade Pepsi Center on Saturday, March 1. One week later, the arch-rival Calgary Roughnecks come to ‘The Loudest House in Lacrosse’ for the team’s second-annual St. Patrick’s Day celebration. The home schedule features seven Saturday evening games and two on Friday nights.

The Mammoth has qualified for the postseason in ten out of 11 seasons, including three straight playoff berths. Bob Hamley returns for his fifth season as head coach.
