The Colorado Mammoth Junior Team tryouts on December 20, 2008 were a huge success! Thank you to all of the participants and parents who attended. The coaching staff saw great lacrosse talent and had to make some tough decisions. The 2009 Junior Mammoth team roster is as follows:

Over 100 young lacrosse players came out for the tryout at Pepsi Center, and 7 Colorado Mammoth players and coaches came out to work with the kids! The tryout also featured skills training on indoor lacrosse.

The Junior Mammoth North and South team is an Under-12 team that will compete during at least three halftime home Mammoth games at Pepsi Center. Make sure to check back with Coloradomammoth.com for the latest news and information.

Scoop n' Shoot sponsored by Humana

Prior to the Colorado Mammoth/Minnesota Swarm game on March 22nd, 2009, nearly 75 youth lacrosse players competed in the Colorado Mammoth Scoop n’ Shoot competition at Pepsi Center.

The event featured lacrosse players ages 9-14 racing against the clock to scoop six balls and shoot them into the goal as quickly as possible. The kids were put into two different age categories (9-11 and 12-14) and a winner was chosen from each. The winners were as follows:

WINNERS (boys):
Ryan Clevenger (Time: 20.35)
Connor Reger (Time: 18.81)

WINNERS (girls):
Marin Felsoci (Time 50.69)
Raychl Reger (Time 32.62)
